Vista Tutorial - Desktop Search in Vista and Outlook 2007

WDS with Outlook 2007 simply doesn't work - results are inconsistent at best.
Repeating a search gives completely different results from today to tomorrow.
After trying all possible combinations of indexing options and waiting for
days for indexes to rebuild and re-test I finally have to give up (they're
not paying me to test paid-for software) and installed Google desktop.
A search is simply useless if you cannot trust it.

This must be a particularly clever strategy for the battle with Google in
the software arena. I have to admit it's so clever I am not able to
appreciate it.
