RE: Just bought Vista Ultimate, No option for 64bit version.?

I could be wrong but I believe the retail version of Vista contains both the
32 and 64 bit o/s. You get an option as to which one to pick during the
install.

I bought an OEM version and had to get 64-bit as a stand-alone because it
was OEM.

Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

P.S. In Order To Use This 64 Bit Download Of Windows Vista, You Need To
Already Be Using 64 Bit Windows XP SP1 or SP2, Just FYI.

Re: Just bought Vista Ultimate, No option for 64bit version.?

I Believe That It Has To Be A Fully Activated OEM Copy Of 64 Bit Windows XP
SP1 Or SP2, Just FYI.

P.S. Try Asking About It In The Microsoft Windows 64 Bit Computing
Newsgroup, Just Go To http://www.windowsvista.com, Then Click On Help And
How To, Next Click On Community, Then Click On Discussions, Finally Click On
Windows 64 Bit Computing, and Post Your Question There, Just FYI.

P.S.S. I Used To Read And Post In That Newsgroup All The Time While I Was
Running Windows XP 64 Bit Edition SP1 (Before I Got Involved In Windows
Vista Beta Testing During The Windows Vista Beta Test) But, I Eventually
Switched Over To Reading And Posting In This Newsgroup When It Got Activated
In Early 2006, Just FYI.
