Microsoft offers Vista downgrade to XP

Sounds like a lot of resistance to Vista continues especially among
business users.

Our customer, with close to 500K seats, is screaming for Vista. They want it
NOW. That doesn't mean there's not a lot of resistance to Vista, not by a
long shot. It just means that not everyone is resistant to moving to Vista.

500,000 employees? And they're "screaming" for Vista?
You emphatically stress that this company (or maybe a
small country that Microsoft just bought?) is nearly in a
panic to get Vista, yet you didn't mention even one reason
for their hysteria. Does Vista offer eternal youth, and
somehow the news hasn't got out yet?

500K computers, not employees. DOD. Security. I did not claim that their
reasons for wanting Vista were valid. I did say they want it. And that is
true.
