vista home networks

worseI have 2 new laptops running vista home premium and ultimate. Ever since
putting them om my home network the internet is very slow and almostworse
than dial up. My desktop plugged into my linksys wrt54g works very fast. The
wireless is very slow. I have one Hp laptop running XPPRO and it is much
faster on wireless. I bought a linksys range expander, turned off windows
internet protected mode and still very slow. I have windows firewall off and
mcafee on set to accept all ip on the local network. I thought vista was cool
but is seems to stil have a lot of problems with networking. All of my
previous computers were XP and XP PRO and I had no problems with internet,
file sharing or printing to 2 networked printers. Now nothing works well
except the wired computer. Any help would be appreciated.
