Vista x64 Ultimate: IE vs IE (64bit)

What is the advantage of running the 64bit version of Internet Explorer? I
haven't noticed any performance or stability increase - some add-ons (like
Macromedia and alike) are not available for the 64bit version; so what's the
deal?

Re: Vista x64 Ultimate: IE vs IE (64bit)

Hello Piotr,

Some would say that the advantage of using the 64 bit IE7 is because of the
lack of addons. One does not have to endure a lot of intrusive advertising
banners etc when browsing ;-)

Jane, not plain 64 bit enabled :-)

RE: Vista x64 Ultimate: IE vs IE (64bit)

Like most 64 bit applications, the use is still in development. Welcome to
the world of beta testing!

But realistically, it won't be too long before we start seeing even higher
quality web interfaces that require 64 bit. I give it 3 years.
