How much of a difference would it make to go from 2mb of ram to 3mb of ram.
Intel 3.00gh computer with Vista Home.
Would it be worth the money?

Much depends on what applications you plan on using, you can maybe take
a guess by looking at the usage in task manager, but I'd guess you will
not see any great difference. If you run numerous small apps together,
or have browser and email running while editing big graphics then more
memory is always better, but I think the difference between 1 and 2 G is
greater than between 2 and 3 G if you see what I mean. See what others
think, that is of course just my personal opinion.
As said in previous post, you may not notice any significant difference.
If you have integrated graphics memory, additional RAM will help things to
run a bit smoother, make sure if you add RAM, that the new modules are the
same as currently in PC.
If your graphics are integrated an investment in a card with own RAM maybe a
better investment.
It really depends on what you use the machine for, and if PC 32bit no more
than 3gb.

There's no answer to that question that's right for everyone. This is
*not* a one-size-fits-all situation. You get good performance if the
amount of RAM you have keeps you from using the page file, and that
depends on what apps you run.
Most people running a typical range of business applications would
probably see *no* improvement by exceeding 2GB. Whether that's true in
your case, I have no idea.

You're welcome. Your choice, of course.

assistance. For system RAM you may want to check out www.vista-memory.info.
For example- 32- bit Vista only can use 4GB.
