| | Copy and paste/text transfer issue -- I tried to cut and paste an e-mail to a Microsoft Works word processor document and it kept pasting the last item I had pasted previously which was a jpeg file. Then I tried to drag and drop the text to the document. The text didn't transfer to the document and disappeared from the body of the e-mail. I used the help wizard to try to recover the text but to no avail. I also couldn't utilize the Undo function. How can I recover this information??? P.S. I haven't shutdown, or restarted my system. | | RE: Copy and paste/text transfer issue Instead of copy and paste, or cut and paste, why don't you use "File" "Save as" in your email program. Save to your documents. You can only save 1 at a time, a drawback. Re your missing email, it would be on the clipboard. | | RE: Copy and paste/text transfer issue The "Vista" clipboard for works word processor is Works Portfolio which I also accessed to try and recover the text from and there was nothing there. -- Tang9 - OUT "Mick Murphy" wrote: Quote: > Instead of copy and paste, or cut and paste, why don't you use "File" "Save > as" in your email program.
