| | destinations.msi Recently, an error message has started during start up. Windows installer is performing some additional configuration of Windows Sidebar and is looking for the file "destinations.msi" in a temporary folder that was cleaned out and no longer exists. Does anyone know what this file is and perhaps suggest a solution? Thank you, -- Jess Aynes |

| | Re: destinations.msi have you downloaded a add-in to the side bar? and before installing it, cleaned up temporary files? as so far it looks to me like this, so you have to once again download that gadget add-in and restart the process. | Server 2008 | Re: destinations.msi Download the HP Vista unified driver for inkjet printers from the HP site. Run the driver and it will extract the files to your "temp" folder. Go to your temp folder, drill down and you will find a folder named "destinations". Copy this folder to another area of your choice. Now, when sidebar asks for the destinations.msi file, browse to the destinations folder you created. Destinations.msi will do its thing and that solves the problem. Ken |
