Windows Live Messenger Transfer Speeds

Hi there,

Since installing vista, sending and recieving files through windows live
messenger has been so slow!! And i mean VERY slow like dial up speed even
though im on 8Meg Broadband.

My downloads from websites etc are normal, but across messenger is dreadful!!

Any ideas why this is happening and how i can speed these up?

Any suggestions would be great,

Thanks!!

RE: Windows Live Messenger Transfer Speeds

make sure that your firewall software isn't blocking Live messenger.

Re: Windows Live Messenger Transfer Speeds

It could also be UAC or the file you are downloading.

Re: Windows Live Messenger Transfer Speeds

Several posters here who desparately want to get XP back have commented that
they cannot find Vista in their ADD/Remove Programs. And so it goes.

Re: Windows Live Messenger Transfer Speeds

Shhh. Andre, the folks here really got torqued when 5456 released to the
TBP and the folks here didn't get it. Tippy-toe about 'that other build'
stuff.
