Vista - Never recieved my beta key

Hey guys,

I never recieved my beta key, I downloaded Vista off the Microsoft.Com
website. My e-mail is zeitgeist@live.com Anyway, I can recover my key so I
can procede with activation?

Everything is empty and I know I signed-up because I got a link in my e-mail
box (which I wish I didn't delete). Is there a recovery website?

A. The Vista CPP was closed as of June 30th. Microsoft is no longer
issuing keys. The downloading ability continues till July 14 for those
people who recived a key, but due to the high amount of download traffice
are still trying to download the file.

B. If you had already signed up in the past, as part of the sign-up
process, Microsoft would have sent you to a screen with download
instruction. Your key was displayed on that screen. You could have chosen to
write it down then.

C. If you signed up for the Beta, Microsoft would have al;so sent you an
E-Mail containing your Key. You could have chosen to write it down, Save the
E-Mail, or print the E-Mail. but if you just printed the E-Mail, you would
have noticed that the key number in the yellow box doesn't print, so
printing the E-Mail doesn't work. Write it down to be safe.

D. You also had the option to order the Beta on DVD. If you took that
option, the DVD's will arrive with a key to use. Ordering the DVD's also
gaurenties you to recieve at no additional charge, the next public release
which will be RC1.

E: This is not a managed Maillist, in other words, there are not MSFT
employees sitting around waiting to help out. This is a peer support group
for all us technical professionals to try to solve our problems
collectively...

You say "I never recieved my beta key" and then you say "Anyway, I can
recover my key".

If you didn't write down your product key, and didn't get the email, then
you can't install Windows Vista. And it is too late to get another product
key, the cut off was June 30.

If you can "recover" your product key, then do it. Then you can install
Windows Vista, and you should not have a problem activating it.

Your key would have been at the bottom of the email that you recieved from
Microsoft with the links to the downloads.

There is no key recovery website.
