CPU Failure?

hi i am having problems with my computer ive had it for about 4 months and
its a good one in my opninion a new series to the gateway its GT5432 by
Gateway the specs are
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ processer dual core 64 bit with 2x512kb of L2 cache
memory and a 2000 MHz system bus,and nvidia GEforce 6150SE graphics card with
128mb VRAM, 1 gig of RAM, a 320 gig HDD,etc. overall i think its a good
computer with windows vista home premium but when i run some games like
battlefield2, or unreal tournament or F.E.A.R. Combat i will get a blue
screen of death then it will go to startup asking if i would like to boot
windows in safe mode, regular mode, etc. etc. and then i start it up normally
and i get an error message saying CPU hardware failure and it says something
about possible files Crshdump.exe and i dont know whats going on can someone
please help?

Usually, the blue screen reference would either be non-descript or it might
reference some driver. On the one hand, the message may be nothing more
than another way of saying hardware failure or fatal error. messages that
used to scare the heck out of less experienced users. On the other hand, it
might be indicative of something more serious going on as that is an unusual
message.

Even though this seems to only occur when playing games and games really
drive the system, I think you should contact Gateway and see if they can
sort this out.

Gateway Tech support should be able to help but this sounds like it
might be related to video card drivers, despite the message about the
CPU hardware etc etc.

The reason gateway should be your first call is because this problem may
have shown up before and they "Should" have a simple answer if it has.
Notice I said "Should"

Re: CPU Failure?

the graphics card is weak. i think you should buy a better Geforce PCI
express graphics card. it probably can't handle the games youre playing.
