| | Changing default program slow downs opening Vista Ultimate Since WMP doesn't shut down completely, I had to change the default program from WMP to Media Center. Since then, when I try to open a MPG or WMV file using a link in IE7, it takes about 1 minute for the program to appear. Setting it back to WMP (and making sure WMP is not in the process list in task manager), it opens instantly. I've tried with other video programs like Divx or Windows media player classic and got the same behavior. any ideas ? |
