"My Pictures" crashes Windows Explorer

Whenever I open up "My Pictures" in Vista, all I see are the generic images
for the file types (i.e. a flower or a few shapes or a landscape for .jpg
or.bmp or whatever). After a few seconds, I get an error message that says
"Windows Explorer has stopped working" then "Searching for a solution" then
"Windows Explorer is restarting." Then, everything flashes away except my
desktop image, and then everything's back except the Pictures folder. I'm
running a new version of Vista, I only bought the computer a few moths ago.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: "My Pictures" crashes Windows Explorer

You shouldn't be able to open "My Pictures" in Vista, as it's not really a
folder, but is a junction point. Do you mean "Pictures"?
