Hi, I have used system restore and because I removed programs before I did
this the programs they still show as being installed. How do I remove them
from my program uninstall? Thanks

Re: system restore

Hi,

System Restore was never intended to be used to uninstall applications, and
should not be used to do so.

Undo the restore and uninstall the applications via Programs and Features in
Control Panel.

Re: system restore

Bert-
I did the UNINSTALL from the add/remove section under the control
panel..While it DID take it out of the Add/remove area , it is STILL on the
desktop and still works when I click on it.
This is from pogo.com and I cannot get rid of it...I was told to do a system
restore by someone on this site but I do not want to screw up my computer
anymore than it already is..I get a blinking screen that goes BLACK, then
desktop, then Black again, then desk finaly loads.

I have no idea how to fix this............
Any help will be greatly appreciated. and by the way, my clock is set
correctly..If THAT means anything?

Re: system restore

What was the name of the game?

Now use System Restore and restore the computer to just before the game was
installed.

Re: system restore

Here are the instructions on how to run System Restore. The worst that will
happen is it will fail to restore.
