| Vista Business | Adding multiple accounts to windows mail Hi, I have Vista Business and I am trying to configure the windows mail to access my website mails. I was successful in adding multiple accounts using IMAP but however, I see the Trash, Sent, Drafts etc folders only for one of the accounts added (info@mysite.com) and not for other accounts like (support@mysite.com ) etc. I want to store the sent mails, the drafts etc all on server (as what IMAP is used for). Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I no longer use OE/WM for email, and now use Outlook instead, so, from memory- ...once you are in one of the IMAP folder, there should be a button in the Toolbar called Folders or similar. If you press that you should get a window that has your accounts on the side, and a list of folders that you can tick to display. ss. |

| Vista Business | Re: Adding multiple accounts to windows mail Thanks for you response ss. I went to the panel you mentioned but it does not show any folders under support@example.com but does show for info@example.com . Is this something to do with server side settings? |

Your account details might be wrong. Maybe you have the wrong port number or authentication mode or something like that. I'd try deleting it the one that doesn't work in Accounts and try inputting the details again. ss. |

| Vista Business | Re: Adding multiple accounts to windows mail Well I kind of found out the problem. There were no folders at all under the support@xxx.com account on my server. But this is strange. I don't know why there are folders like Sent, Trash etc. under my "default" mail account and also under info but not under any other accounts that I created (for ex: support). On finding out that no folders existed under my support@xxx.com I tried to create folders (Sent and Trash) and was successful! I could see those folders on my server as well. However, sent mails don't get stored in the Sent folder I created and nor the deleted go into Trash on the server. Any idea how to do this? BTW, This does not happen with the info account as well. Thanks |
