| | Parental Controls - "rating service unavailable" My kids get the message "rating service unavailable" for just about every web site they try to access when I have Parental Controls turned on for their accounts. The sites are then blocked. This happens even when we use a "custom" level of parental control and un-check the box for unrated content. We also have PC-cillin 2007 installed and are using dial-up with an accelerator. PC-cillin is also set up to block certain wbe content (by category) but it blocks it for all users, not account-by-account. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! |

| | RE: Parental Controls - "rating service unavailable" I am having the exact same problem, except I use Norton 360 instead of PC-cillin. Were you ever able to resolve this? Thanks, SBK "TBT" wrote: Quote: > My kids get the message "rating service unavailable" for just about every web > site they try to access when I have Parental Controls turned on for their > accounts. | | RE: Parental Controls - "rating service unavailable" I'm having the same problem. None of the accounts with set parental controls are able to access any websites at all and get the same message. It's not even allowing me to change the parental controls anymore. Any updates? "SBK" wrote: Quote: > I am having the exact same problem, except I use Norton 360 instead of > PC-cillin.
