| | Dumbest question ever posted Ok, this is probably the dumbest question ever posted here. But does anyone know how to open the plastic box that the software comes in? I have been staring at it and fiddling with it for 1/2 hour. Is this some kind of screening test Microsoft uses to determine who is worthy to use its software? |

| | Re: Dumbest question ever posted You're not the first one to ask this question. Just go back to the first week or so after Vista was released and you'll find a number of posts of a similar nature. Seems some folk used a hammer, a hacksaw, or sharp instruments such as knives to get the case open. In my case I was lucky. I was fiddling around with the thing after having pulled the tab and wondering why the case wouldn't open. As I was turning the case around looking for the hinge line it just flopped open in my lap. It was only after that that I noticed instructions on opening the case, in real small print, on one of the labels. Ps: In case anyone is wondering why I didn't explain how to open the case, it's because I see your question has been answered by other posters already. regldc wrote: Quote: > Ok, this is probably the dumbest question ever posted here.
