| | Connecting to AOL & Vista I am having trouble connecting to AOL. This only happens for one of the four user accounts on my desktop. Of the four two are administrators and two are standard users. The user that is having the difficulty is the second administrator. What happens is that she can sign on the as soon as you hear the "Welcome" AOL freezes up. After about 10 to 15 seconds it will boot itself off and then try to reconect. This continues until I manually close the auto re-log on of AOL. I have re-installed AOL VR multiple times to no avail and AOL's support has been useless. I would just get rid of it and access my AOL through Internet Explorer but my wife prefers AOL. Any thoughts or suggestions? |

| | Re: Connecting to AOL & Vista I don't exactly know for certain but it may be because there are 2 Administrator accounts; I'm no expert but is it possible that the computer isn't powerful enough, or it's just not meant to have 2 Administrator accounts? A possible solution might be to delete the second Administrator account then shut down and then reboot. When done, I think you can rename the account to whatever you want, but you may not be able to rename the underlying folders. Hopefully someone will confirm or refute this. -Paul Randall |

| | Re: Connecting to AOL & Vista He y thanks Greg, it worked! I don't know why Vista/AOL has a problem with having more than one Admin, XP didn't but it did solve the problem. It's nice to see that someone out there knows how to try and help people instead of espousing their own personal agendas. Keep up the good work!!
