| | Compatibility of Office 2007 Hi. I have recently purchased a Toshiba Qosmio laptop which does not come with any Office product. I do have Office 2003 at home which I can load but I'm thinking about getting the 2007 Ultimate package instead. My question is this - after reading the specs for the 2007, it indicates that I have to have Vista with Service Pack 2 ... how can I tell if I have Service Pack 2 or not? Or, should I just go download it from the Microsoft site anyway? Thanks for your help. -- psyberkitty |

| | RE: Compatibility of Office 2007 There is no Service Pack 2 or even 1 for vista! Vista Ultimate(and any Vista version) does not come with any Office products. My advice: install Office 2003, which you have; and it is compatible with all versions of Vista. There are some updates for Office 2003(SP3), which you will receive in auto updates in Vista. | | Re: Compatibility of Office 2007 I think you may have misread that - it would be Windows XP with Service Pack 2 required to run Office 2007. Vista hasn't even had SP1 released, let alone SP2. Read the system requirements again..... "psyberkitty" <psyberkitty@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:E34A5EC5-ED32-484D-BABC-31CD61E60CB9@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi.
