"Resuming Windows" screen is not in my native language.

I have Windows Vista Home Basic (Russian). After I've installed new HDD in
computer, I copied all partitions to new HDD, recovered startup with
installation DVD. After this "Resuming Windows" screen, Recovery options
screen and boot screen (I have linux installed) started to appear in English.
Earlier this screens were in Russian.
How can I make these screens to appear in Russian again?

Just an idea:

Check/explore the "Regional and Language Settings" applet in the Control
Panel .. make sure everything is set appropriately.

When you put in your Vista DVD, the first option you get is to choose the
language for installation. I would suspect that you'd need to choose Russian
there, and then follow through the same procedure that you used when you
'recovered startup with installation DVD' previously.

Re: "Resuming Windows" screen is not in my native language.

When I did this, I chose Russian.
And I repeated this procedure several times.
Result is the same.

Once I recovered startup on my old HDD, but the language hadn't changed.
