Vista - Help please Spooler SubSystem App has stopped working

I keep getting this error "Spooler SubSystem App has stopped working" and
then this "Spooler SubSystem Closed" twice everytime I log into the
computured. I have a Lexmark X1240 printer that I have not been able to use
since I upgraded to vista and now I keep getting this annoying error all the
time. Twice when I turn on my computer I get both those errors. I followed
the steps to upgrade the software for the Lexmark X1240 but it still aint
working I can't use the scanner or printer. I really need to use my printer
and scanner. Its a combination printer, scanner / printer... Can someone
pleease help me.

Hi Jeremiah,

Uninstall the supporting software and disconnect the device. Reboot if
necessary to complete this step. Download the most recent version of the
supporting software from Lexmark and install it. Generally, at a point
during installation, it will prompt you to reconnect the device. If you
leave the device connected during these steps, it will continue to try and
use the older, incorrect drivers.
