wlan autoconfig bug

Can anyone tell me if microsoft is going to fix the Wlan autoconfig bug
anytime soon?
The autoconfig causes lagspikes in my wireless lan connection every 60
seconds.
I tried downloading the newest drivers from linksys, a hotfix from linksys,
countless
3rd party software like Vista anti-lag or Wlan optimizer, i tried the netsh
wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="(name of network)" thingie and
more.
Nothing works, i keep getting lag spikes every 60 seconds. Any online
game is unplayable because of this. I read Microsoft considers the wlan
autoconfig to be working as intended. Are they really that stupid?
I seriously hope there is a fix for this somewhere.......
