How to Transfer Email Messages to Vista??

Can someone please help? Old Computer runs XP and Microsoft Outlook Office
2000. New PC runs Vista Business and has Microsoft Outlook Office 2007. I
have set up the new PC and opened Outlook account and settings. This is
working fine.
However, using a memory stick, is there a very clear and simple way of
transfering email messages from old PC. I have tried Easy Transfer, but with
no luck. This is proving to be very frustrating for someone who is fairly
capable with PC's.
