Address toolbar for web searching?

At one point, I had Vista (Home Premium) set up so that you could use the
Address toolbar in the taskbar to do google searches. All you had to do was
type in a phrase and it would open a firefox window with google search
results.

Since then, I've reinstalled Vista and now I can't figure out how to
configure the Address toolbar anymore. It uses some search engine from my
ISP, which can't find anything. How do I configure settings for this toolbar?
