Background Intelligence Transfer Servive with HMV downloads

Please help!
I'm trying to download digital music from HMV onto my new laptop (with
Vista), but each time I try it says the BITS is disabled. I've checked in
'services', and it isn't, it's set to automatic and shows as running. I've
also checked that all dependent functions are also running, and I have no
error codes - what's going on? What else can I try? Is it me, or HMV?

Many thanks :-)

Thanks Engel - just tried it and it says I do not need to repair BITS, so
it's obviously not that. Anyone else got any suggestions?
