Internet Explorer 7.0 Password Autocomplete

Hi

in IE 7.0 when auto-complete for passwords is turned on, if the pop-up
asking if you would like to save this password has appeared and you have
clicked no, how do you later save the password for that website?

Thanks

Hi,

Tools/Internet Options/Content tab, click on autocomplete settings and
re-enable this option.

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 Password Autocomplete

Thanks. Auto-complete for usernames and passwords is enabled as you have
described.

The issue is that if you choose not to save the username and password for a
website when IE has prompted you, how do you later save the username and
password for that website, as it no longer prompts you?

Hi,

You need to reenable the prompt option. You may also need ot delete any
current cookies for that site.

Re: Internet Explorer 7.0 Password Autocomplete

The cookies have been deleted and prompt me to save password has been ticked
in AutoComplete Settings.

However for sites that I had previously said no to when prompted to save
their password it won't re-prompt me and allow me to now save their
password.

Any ideas?
