Accessing Problems ans Solutions

I have received solutions to problems I have but I am unable to access them
as I get an error message when I try. Does anyone know how to resolve this
problem?

Hi,

What error message are you receiving?
Can you access the Event Viewer?

don't know what I'm looking for to find the ID which might tell you more. If
it is the Dhcp-Client then the Event ID is 1002

Re: Accessing Problems ans Solutions

Hi,

Are you using a third party firewall?

Re: Accessing Problems ans Solutions

If you mean other than integral then the answer is no. Thanks for your
responses so far.

Re: Accessing Problems ans Solutions

Hi,

I should restate that. I meant anything like a third party firewall or
Internet Security program. Either of them can block the outbound activity
necessary.

Re: Accessing Problems ans Solutions

I'm not using any of those. Your response prompted me to turn off the
Firewall I have and try to access the info again, but sadly no joy.
