Vista updates

I was curious, I have vista ultimate, I had it installed about 3 months ago,
but honestly, I wasn't seeing any updates, and no performance enhancements
come out. Does anyone know if Microsoft has come out with new enhancements?
Also, VERY important, have they fixed SATA to SATA drive copying, which was
going at about 5mb/s compared to the 3-400 in XP?

Re: Vista updates

You can get the updates from Microsoft's website direct. But they don't work
anyway.
Mine does not show them from updates as well. Another bug! But I did Install
them anyway. I figured that this OS is so messed up, then a few updates
won't matter.

No fast drive copying with sata to sata. Another bug!
No fast drive copying with anything. SCSI TO SCSI as well. : (

Re: Vista updates

there could be a chance, that some things dont work, because your
activation.didnt really go though..mine didnt and i had to do the phone
thing..if it is not activated and it thinks its an illegal copy,by not being
activated,,it want let you go for updates..
