If my suggestion of using Hypersnap-DX does not work, I just thought of another way, albeit a bit involved... He could run Vista, and his program, in VirtualPC (free) and take a snapshot of that instead. ss. |

That will allow you to take screen captures using CTRL+PRINT SCREEN and pasting it into MSPAINT then cropping the image to the UAC prompt. At Run command type secpol.msc or gpedit.msc and in Computer Configuration go to Window Settings > security settings > local policies > security options > User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation | select radial DISABLED. (I'm the only one who uses this computer.)
