Vista - Display

There is a narrow vertical line on the left side of my monitor. It extends
from the top to about 3/4 of the way down. I cannot click or drag it. Only
way it disapears is if I click "Show Desktop" but it soon returns. Could
somebody tell me what it is and how to get rid of it? I would like to move
my desktop toolbar to that side.

Do you have an LCD monitor? I had the same problem with an LCD television,
and it was basically unfixable. Is your monitor still under warranty? If
so, you should take it back.

Yes, it's a Dell LCD monitor. It came with the computer. I'll go back to
Dell.
