| | Screen keeps flashing every 10 mins or so. Hi, I am using Windows Vista Home Premium. My screen keeps flashing up every few minutes. it becomes more apparent while playing movies. the media keeps playing though. i tried disabling my screensaver just in case that was setting it off, but no luck.. any ideas what to do?? or why it might be happenning?? Of course, your screen is your computer screen and you have a concern about it flashing or going black and then coming back on. Jini, I'm thinking two possible issues: the first is that you need to update your video drivers and the other is that the codex' for your movie player are causing your problem. Is your video card ATI or Nvidia and which player do you use to watch movies? | | Re: Screen keeps flashing every 10 mins or so. If it is the same problem that I have. My display momentary blurs then returns to normal. It is more than likely a driver issue having to do with the way windows uses the gpu.
