| | I want to go from 4 to 2 partitions I already have Vista Home Premium installed. I have 4 partions but only want 2. I went thru the help files and found you can shrink and delete partitions but can then only create new partions after that. I want to get to 2 partitions and then take the new available space and make the C: drive bigger and a small 2nd D: drive. Can I do this or do I have to boot from DVD, FDisk, delete partitions, make active and reinstall? |

Try Acronis Disk Image or BootItNG recommended by John Barnes. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "matt hopkins" <hopkins822@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:62895275-3F86-46F3-8C4D-F9DACA565D17@xxxxxx Quote: > try norton partition magic take a backup though but you usually dont have > to format > > > "Steve T" <SteveT@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news F8B2D52-6366-47E9-A424-A42CA78BA0DD@xxxxxxQuote: >>I already have Vista Home Premium installed.
