| | How To Put Deleted Photos Into Recycle Bin? Hi, Many deleted items go into the Recycle Bin, to give one a second chance if the deletion was accidental. However, when photos are deleted either from the hard drive or an attached SD memory card, they just "disappear" without going to the Recycle Bin. Is there any way that I can instruct my Vista Home Premium to send deleted photos to the Recycle Bin? In this context, does anyone know of a suitable skilled person who can retrieve photos from a deleted SD card that was not subsequently written over? A computer friend of mine could not, and various software retrieval programs could not. (I deleted a short cut, and Vista simultaneously deleted 193 images from my plugged-in SD card, including important wedding pix.) Thank you. Morton Linder |

| | Re: How To Put Deleted Photos Into Recycle Bin? Hello Morton... all "removable drives" like floppy disks, flash drives and SD cards DO NOT have a recycle bin. This is done because usually these media do not have much space.. You can however manually MOVE the files from the SD card to another location. By moving the files they will be tranfered to a location on your hard drive and removed from the SD card. as for the restoration of deleted files IT IS POSSIBLE YES unless you write new files on top I have done this in the past with programs... you should try some.. I am not sure if this one works with SD cards google it, its free, its called "restoration" "Morton" <mort@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:wXyPi.3014$Yb2.728@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, > > Many deleted items go into the Recycle Bin, to give one a second chance if > the deletion was accidental. From now on, the first thing that I will do with new images is pop the card into my Epson P-3000 and back them up. Then, I can try to get them to my H.D. and burn a CD-R. Thanks again. Mort |

| | Re: How To Put Deleted Photos Into Recycle Bin? No. You would need to install a third-party program to capture the information beforehand.
