| | Window animations fade in/out Now I do remember windows basic having a basic fade in out animation for max min windows....but I seem to have lost this in the process of sorting out another vista problem. Here is the story: pc was running at max 100% cpu usage all of the time, drained my bat completely all the time. I tracked the problem down litterally by turning off all services and enabling them in small blocks at a time. Turns out it was office 2007 for me. Now what I think I might have done disabled a service directly associated with window animations. What are the services directly relating to window animations, or even the themes services. Thanks in advance. Adam |

| | Re: Window animations fade in/out Thanks, but nope these were the two things I checked straight away. Before I continue trying to solve this problem, can someone tell me this: Does Vista home basic support animated fade in/out on windows minimizing and maximizing? Or am I going loopy?? If they do, please could someone else give me a direction to look at? Thanks again, Adam "Andre Da Costa[ActiveWin]" wrote: Quote: > Service - Desktop Windows Manager DWM > > You sure you have not just turned it it off? | | Re: Window animations fade in/out thats great thought I was going nuts then. Ok, well im still in the same boat. Has anyone else come across this problem before? Its really annoying stuck in basic min max functions. I have checked the system properties diag box, ive changed it to custom, back to windows controlling it, and so forth. All with a reboot between them. Anyone any idea?? |
