| Guest | tmcomm.sys error with media player I occasionally get a computer hang (almost always when using media player). I know this is a Trendmicro file but I only ran Housecall once several months ago and no longer use it. For some unknown reason, the service control manager generates an entry in the event log #7000. "tmcomm.sys failed to start". Does anybody know what is triggering this and why. Is this file used by anything else? I've been reluctant to delete it since I"ve finally got Vista running pretty well and don't want to mess up something else. |
