this is an issue that I have had for about a week now. I recently installed
Vista Manager and Bitdefender Internet Suite 2008. Thinking one of them
caused the problem I uninstalled both but still the same problem.

Any ideas?

I forgot to add that my ipaq 2490 doesn't sync anymore with Outlook 2007,
actually the icon for the device centre is not in the taskbar anymore.
