Windows host problem at start up

Each time I log on to my PC I receive the same message -
Windows host process(Rundll32) has stopped working. A problem caused the
program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify
you if a solution is available.
a solution hasn't been provided, and the problem won't go away. Any
suggestions?
