| | Vista and Live Messenger 8.1 - Webcams with no audio Hi, Common bug with Vista and Live Messenger. Fully functioning webcam with build in mic. Mic works fine in every application and even during audio only chats in messenger. However when trying a video chat - no sound. The audio/video tuning wiazrd cannot detect the build in mic. This seems to be a very common problem and the suggested workaround doesn't work for everyone.
