Safely Remove Hardware problem

Every time I reboot, S.H.R. reports that I have a USB mass storage
device at port_#0006.Hub_#0001. even though I safely removed it some
time ago. I can easily get rid of the message but it's getting a bit
annoying now. Any suggestions appreciated.
Nick
