| | speakers "hiss" when plugging in headphones in headphone jack i'm not quite sure why it's doing that and its really bugging me. the hiss isn't loud or anything but it is pretty noticeable. any person i have asked who have laptops haven't experienced this problem. is there some way to stop them from hissing? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: speakers "hiss" when plugging in headphones in headphone jack I have this same hiss. It has the same patter like the "busy" noise your computer makes when many programs are on simultaneously. This is really annoying. When I hit the mute button, or disconnect the power cord, the hiss disappears. It's a DELL Vostro 1000 Laptop. Last edited by mikeg19_82; 02-06-2008 at 12:02 PM.. |
