Updated Creative X-Fi driver

There is an updated Vista driver for X-Fi on the Creative site. Still not
designated for Beta 2 but maybe it will work (not tried it yet myself):

RE: Updated Creative X-Fi driver

Has anybody tried 'em yet? I'm intrigued, but somewhat skeptical. :0\

RE: Updated Creative X-Fi driver

Yes! I finaly got home and was able to try this new driver out: still a
little kludgy but it worked for me!

I'm running Vista Beta2 build 5384.

Uninstalled other X-Fi drivers. Disabled UAP. Disabled Virus scan and
defender. Installed the new(er) driver.

I now can set 5.1 in Vista and Creative settings. At first I was only
getting sound out of all except the front left and right (bizaar!) but once I
changed the Mode to "Game Mode" in the Creative Audio Console I started
getting sound out of all 5 speakers! (something I was never able to do with
any release of Vista to date with any driver or combination of steps
available prior to this driver) :-)

Note that the driver is still identified as being for beta 1 vista build.

That was a typo by Creative. Should now say it's for beta 2 (according to
Creatives forum)
