Default Driver Damaged Hardware?

I think that there is a possibility that the Default NVidia driver for the
Vista Beta damaged my nForce4 430 chipset. The LAN that is associated with
the chipset seems to be broken after installing Vista.

I have a windows XP partition, and after the install and attempted fix of my
Vista networking device, the XP driver always gets Limited Connection and can
not connect to the internet.

Does anyone have any ideas I can use to check to see it's the hardware
that's broken or just the driver? Any help at all is appreciated at this
point.
