Vista Tutorial - Driver Problem - USB webcam + setupapi.dev.log

Im having some troubles installing my USB webcam, its a Sweex WC001.

Its Vista compatable, there are two versions of firmware around, i tried
both.

Problem:
Firmware installed, Webcam doesnt seem to be "located"
Webcam appears in the devices list as "USB Camera" with a yellow triangle.
--> Double click gives "no driver software installed" So i click -->
Install driver software, browse.
Browse to the driver files, "no driver file found" Browse to C://Windows:

"windows found driver software but encountered an error while attempting to
install it." "PC Camera 6005 CIF" "The system cannot find the file specified."

Thats it, AMCAP (webcam capture program) gives the following error: "no
video capturing hardware found"

setupapi.dev.log contains:

I experience something similar.

USB webcam brand: PC line

It has functioned with my windows vista computer, but since being uncplugged
& reconnected, I am told each time that a new device is detected & go through
the device installation drill.

Result:

USB2.0 PC Camera (SN9C202)

The system cannot find the file specified."

any suggestions?....
