Go to your laptop mftr.'s tech support website. They will have the
manual there for you to read/download.

Re: how do I turn the touch pad off?

I don't know if you can. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop and either
the wireless mouse or the touchpad will work at any time. In fact if they
did not I would not know when my wireless mouse needed a new battery,

go into control panel under pen and input devices. Then disable yours. Failing that go into device manager and disable the touchpad.
