| Guest | Secondary display problems vista 64 Hi, my ATI 2600pro works with the secondary display, however Vista only recognises the secondary as a generic non pnp monitor, I cant seem to update the driver beyond this, its a problem because the ATi drivers only allow a refresh rate of 25i on this screen, which is rubbish, looks like the hardware isn't even being used. It's a HD display and will support up to 1080i at up to 100hz, which it did very well under XPpro at max resolution and 75hz under the same system setup. I have tried changing it manually in vista, choose from a list, the list doesnt populate, the ati drivers wont let me force anything. However like is said this all worked well underXP (like many other things) and now refuses to cooperate under vista (all for a bit of extra 64bit crysis performance). Please help, suggestions! Thanks, David. |
