| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Problem detecting a connected USB Guitar for Guitar Hero 3. Hi. I've been having this issue with the x-plorer controller bundled with the PC version of Guitar Hero 3. When i connect the device to any of my USB-ports Vista fails to recognize the devices as USB/HID whatever it is supposed to be recognized as. Instead it shows up under "Other Devices" in the device manager. I've tried retrieving drivers automatically and manually but the obtained drivers does not install properly for the particular device. After installing the drivers Device Manager still tells me that there are no installed drivers for this device and that the device is of "Other Device" type. I hope someone can contribute with some troubleshooting help, otherwise i have no clue as what to do. |
