netgear/Dell Error in setupapi.dev.log

Hi,

While installing my netgear wn121t on a dell inspiron 530sthe driver
installation is ok but when connecting the device I get a file not found
error and the following in the log: -

System also fails with 80070002 error when windows update tries to install
an update. What do I need to do to correct this?? Getting desperate, spent a
week on this, looked everywhere and found how to find this error but now
stuck as to how to correct it and considering a vista re-install.

Please help!
