| | Intellipoint Software It has been mentioned before, but with this I'll try again: Ironicly ALL drivers (and i have quite a few) are recognized or installed EXCEPT the Microsoft Intellipoint software. I have a Microsoft Mouse (LaserMouse 6000) and it works perfectly, but I use the 2 extra side-buttons often after reasigning them, I can only do that with the Intellipoint software, I guess? So it does not want to install 'cause it can't find my mouse... Any sollutions (coming up?) MVG, Tijl |

| | Re: Intellipoint Software I use the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0, and I never took the time to look in Control Panel at the Mouse properties. There isn't a way to change those two side buttons. I guess I never looked because my two side buttons were already back and forward, which is what I use anyway. I haven't tried installing the software. It works, so I'm not going try and fix it. Sorry that I was of no help. -Michael "Tijl Deneut [GMail]" <tijl.deneut@gmail.com> wrote in message news:E339D016-9009-4F58-B13E-0BD786F8D8B3@microsoft.com... > It has been mentioned before, but with this I'll try again: > Ironicly ALL drivers (and i have quite a few) are recognized or installed EXCEPT the > Microsoft Intellipoint software. > I have a Microsoft Mouse (LaserMouse 6000) and it works perfectly, but I use the 2 extra > side-buttons often after reasigning them, I can only do that with the Intellipoint software, > I guess? > So it does not want to install 'cause it can't find my mouse... > > Any sollutions (coming up?) > > MVG, Tijl |

| | Re: Intellipoint Software In earlier builds of x64 I would install the latest XP 64 intellipoint packages and it would then work. I did not get time to try it on this build before it exploded on me. I never tried on x86.
