A.c power and battery power

I am new to Windows and am running Vista on an Apple MacBookPro. The problen
I have is that Vista thinks the machine is running on battery power when the
ac power supply is plugged in! However, the battery never runs down. If I
take the battery out I knows it is running on ac power!
Can anyone help a Windows novice

The power management software is written by Apple. Try the Apple
discussions groups. Go to Apple.com, select the Support tab on the home
page, and look for "discussions" near the bottom center of the support page.
They have a forum for Boot Camp where Mac users discuss all sorts of issues
relating to running Windows on a MacBook Pro (as I do).
