| | Mounting a Dynamic Volume in Vista Ultimate I'm having an issue mounting a dynamic volume (created with MS Windows Server 2003) on a new Vista Ultimate installation. I've found reference to similar issues (http://groups.google.com/group/micro...n+the+pack%22#) and the 2 or 3 I've seen were caused because the user was using a home version of Vista. I have a 2.5TB RAID 5, 6-drive array that cannot be mounted using diskpart or diskmgmt.msc. When I right click on "Disk 1 / Dynamic / / Offline" in diskmgmt.msc, the only options available to me are: (1) Convert to basic disk (which erases all data); (2) Reativate Disk (which throws an error); (3) Properties (which works); or (4) Help (which is useless, as always). I'd like to keep this a dynamic disk. How can I mount this? Thanks! |
